University of Washington
Zecotek, in partnership with the University of Washington, is developing a new-generation PET/MRI scanning device.
Recognizing the potential of our imaging technologies, specifically our new, patented scintillation materials and patent pending high-performance multi-pixel avalanche photo diodes (MAPD), Zecotek is collaborating with Professor Thomas Lewellen and the University of Washington in the development of new generation of medical scanning devices. The objective the project is to develop a single scanning device that combines the technologies of positron emission tomography (PET) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). This break through device will represent the world’s first PET/MRI scanning devise, creating a completely new level of medical imaging. Zecotek retains the sole right to commercialize the technology with and end goal of developing and commercializing a proprietary PET/MRI system. |
